Terry
Riley Project
In
April 2009, four of our ensemble members were invited by
the Kronos Quartet to be part of the
45th anniversary performance of In
C
at Carnegie Hall. In addition to Kronos, performers
included original In C performers Terry Riley, Stuart
Dempster, and Jon Gibson, and also Philip Glass, Osvaldo
Golijov, Joan La Barbara, Lenny Pickett, Judith Sherman,
Mark Stewart, Kathleen Supové, Margaret Leng Tan, Dan
Zanes, Evan Ziporyn and So Percussion. More photos of our
trip
HERE.

A few months later we released "In C Remixed", a 2-CD set
with our original 20 minute studio recording, plus 18
remixes by a remarkable cast of composers, producers, and
electronic artists including DJ Spooky, Zoe Keating, Nico
Muhly, Glenn Kotche, Mason Bates, DBR, and David Lang.

Then in November, 2009 the ensemble drove 630 miles to New
York's
Le Poisson Rouge
to perform a full-length concert version of In C, with
special guest electronic musician Dennis DeSantis. The
group's high energy performance went so well that we were
approached by the revolutionary label Ghostly
International, in collaboration with
Wordless Music,
to release the concert in April 2010. Click the Ghostly
